1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking an appointment or using our services at BareCanvas, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Service Description

BareCanvas provides professional waxing services including but not limited to:

• Full body waxing services
• Facial waxing
• Specialized waxing treatments
• Skin care consultations

All services are performed by licensed professionals in a clean, safe environment.

3. Booking and Appointments

Appointment Scheduling

• Appointments must be booked in advance through our online system or by phone
• We require a valid phone number and email address for appointment confirmations
• First-time clients may be required to complete a consultation form

Arrival Policy - 9-Minute Grace Period

• Please arrive 10 minutes early for your appointment
• We provide a 9-minute grace period for late arrivals
• After 9 minutes, your appointment will be considered a no call/no show
• No call/no show appointments result in a 50% charge of scheduled services

With ample notification, we make every consideration to accommodate our clients if they are running late.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

24-Hour Notice Required

• Cancellation Notice: We ask that you please reschedule at least 24 hours before the beginning of your appointment
• Late Cancellation Fee: Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be charged a cancellation fee of 50% the price of your appointment
• No Call/No Show: Will be charged 50% of scheduled services

Appointment Reminders & Confirmations

• Confirmation text is sent out 3 days prior to scheduled appointment
• Please CONFIRM, RESCHEDULE OR CANCEL your appointment via the text
• If you need to reschedule or cancel, please do so directly from the confirmation text you will receive

5. Payment Terms

• Payment is due at the time of service
• We accept cash, credit cards, and digital payments
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
• Gratuities are appreciated but not required

Client Responsibilities

• Inform us of any medications, skin conditions, or allergies
• Do not book if you have active infections, open wounds, or sunburn
• Avoid sun exposure 24 hours before and after waxing
• Follow pre and post-care instructions provided

7. Refunds and Satisfaction

• We strive for 100% client satisfaction
• If you're unsatisfied, please contact us within 48 hours
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
• Touch-up services may be offered instead of refunds

8. Liability and Disclaimers

Service Risks

Waxing services may involve risks including but not limited to:

• Temporary skin irritation or redness
• Ingrown hairs
• Allergic reactions (rare)
• Skin lifting (if using certain medications)

Limitation of Liability

BareCanvas liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Privacy and Confidentiality

• We protect your personal and health information
• Information is only shared as necessary for service delivery
• Photography or testimonials require explicit consent

10. Code of Conduct

We expect all clients to:

• Treat our staff with respect and courtesy
• Follow hygiene requirements
• Arrive in appropriate condition for service
• Communicate openly about comfort levels and concerns
